Peter Thomson is an acknowledged authority on the changing world of work and it’s impact on organisation culture and management practices. He is co-author of 'Future Work: how business can adapt and thrive in the new world of work', published in October 2011, which has attracted enthusiastic reviews from business leaders and experts.

Peter is a regular speaker on the coming revolution in working practices based on the social, demographic and technological changes that are happening now. He challenges managers to rethink some of the outdated assumptions about motivating and rewarding people that are no longer applicable in the fast moving digital age.

Peter is a Visiting Executive Fellow at Henley Business School where he was Director of the Future Work Forum for 16 years and he is now Research Director for the Telework Association. He is also a director of Wisework Ltd, the leading consultancy on new working practices and business transformation based on flexible working. He spent the majority of his professional career in HR/Personnel and was head of the HR function in Digital Equipment during the period that they pioneered remote working practices.
