Catherine Destivelle

Catherine Destivelle entered the International Climbing competition in the Italian Alps and won three years running and then in the fourth year she won the prestigious Snow Bird competition in the USA.

A number of films have been made of this extraordinarily brave young woman and she has published three successful books about her climbing exploits. She never stops challenging herself or nature, overcoming her fear every time she sets foot on the mountain.
